South Lyon Medical Center is holding a special veterans recognition ceremony at its long-term care facility in Yerington to honor its military veteran residents, a hospital press release said.
The event, sponsored in partnership with the Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS), will be held Thursday, Dec. 8 at 10:30 a.m. inside the long-term care facility dining room.
All residents, employees and family members are invited to attend.
A Veteran Services Officer from NDVS will be available at the ceremony to answer any individual questions regarding VA benefits.
